From A Garage To A Factory

It Started In A Garage

The Spark

Radica started in Luke's garage in 2021. With a passion for getting on the trail and a need for something better to sleep out of, this 20' x 30' space was the spark to the fire. Luke built the first prototype and first customer MoonLander in here.

Going Full Time

The garage was exciting, but we ran out of space QUICK. By January of 2022 we got our first commercial warehouse — 1,500 SF, and a big deal. Luke went full time with the business and we hired our first employees. We refined the process and got up to a production throughput of 1 camper per week.

The Assembly Line

We ran out of space again before the year's end. Growing organically, we moved into a 3,000 SF warehouse and built a small but true assembly line — from 1 camper per week to 3. Our team doubled and we started making some waves.

The Factory

Demand kept outpacing us, so we took a bigger leap: a 20,000 SF warehouse, almost 7 times the size of warehouse #2. We have been ramping production every month since. When you buy a MoonLander, you are helping support American manufacturing and American dreams.

Luke, founder of RADICA
Hello

My Name Is Luke

I founded Radica because I was building solutions for myself that I couldn't find in the marketplace. This turned into questions and interest from people in parking lots and on the trail. I quickly realized I was onto something and turned my garage into a fabrication shop. By Fall of 2021 I was in business and we had our first orders. I have a background in manufacturing operations and industrial engineering, and I am passionate about building great products that people love. Radica was formed to grow this passion and use my knowledge of lean American manufacturing to deliver what the people want — built in Denver, Colorado.
